Internship Assignments and Grading

Students register for six credits of RPTS 484 during the semester of their internship.  Grading for these credits is determined as follows:

  • Supervisor evaluations (mid-term and final): 40%
  • Self-evaluations (mid-term and final): 5%
  • Hour logs (submitted at halfway point and at end): 5%
  • Four internship¬†reports at 10% each:¬† 40%
  • Website: 10%

Due dates for reports, evaluations, hour logs and the website assignment are set on eCampus for internships which last one full semester. If your internship follows a different schedule, discuss due dates with the internship coordinator.

Performance Evaluations

Be sure to discuss the need for Supervisor Evaluations with your direct on-site supervisor, and let her/him know to watch for an e-mail with the on-line survey web link for the Mid-Term and Final Evaluations. Be sure that the internship coordinator has the correct name and e-mail address of your direct supervisor so that the right person receives the Supervisor Evaluation links! Be aware of due dates and check with your on-site supervisor to make sure that he/she has submitted the surveys.

The survey web links for Self-Evaluations will be available on eCampus, and should be submitted when you are close to 200 hours and 400 hours.
